Last night, my family played a game called Praise Champion, from LB Games. It was one in a bundle sent for review. I didn’t do so great- I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket, but my daughter, who has an incredible voice did fantastic, and as a family, we really enjoyed playing.
We did have to put the dogs in another room- they kept trying to join in with their own vocals (they sounded better than me, but still.) Praise Champion lets you unlock venues, clothing and other features as you
try to move from singing for family and friends to shopping malls and more, towards a world tour. The game includes a microphone, and
you can play around with different effects. The song selection is really nice, and some of our favorite songs were included. A definite hit.
My son played Keys of the Kingdom- a logic game. I asked him to tell me what I should say about it.
Did he like it? Would he keep playing it? Answers: “Yes and yes.” Thanks, hon for your input! He did say it was fun, and that it kept him interested and that some puzzles were too easy- but then some were tough so it evens out.
We also received King Solomon’s Trivia Challenge. We haven’t opened that one yet but according to the description- it looks like a game show styled competition. We are going to try it out this weekend.
I’m pleased with LB Games. It is nice having some fun, family friendly choices out there. I appreciate their commitment to family values and giving kids some options that are entertaining, and even more, can help reinforce their faith.
